  1. I usually log my expenses in chronological order, but when I make changes to a logged expense, it automatically moves to the top. It would be great if I could manually rearrange the transactions after that. Thanks for a very useful app.

        In order to keep track of liability, please refer to the instructions below.

        If you want to keep track of the money you borrow from others,
        We recommend that you add a new account such as “Loan” or “Others” for the debt.
        (Accounts tab > Tap “Pencil” button > Tap “+” button > Select “Loan” > Enter the amount and details > Save)

        After you add the new account, transfer the money from the account to your bank or your wallet.
        Then you can see the spending is not recorded as the expense.
        When you repay the personal debt, transfer from bank to the loan account.
        In other words, you regard money you owe someone as money you owe the bank.

        If you want to keep track of the money you lend to others,
        we recommend proceeding in the opposite way of our explanation mentioned above.
        Please create accounts and transfer from your bank to the accounts.
        After that, if a person pays the amount back, please try in the opposite way.

        In the case of “Loans”, it is recommended that you transfer out from
        your “Savings” account and transfer into “Loans” account.
        The default setting does not reflect transfer as an “expense”.

        If you want to indicate your transaction as its expense,
        you need to change your Transfer-out Setting.
        (Settings > Accounts > Investment/Loan Transfer > ON)

        If you don’t want to indicate savings/investment/insurance/loan transfers as an “expense”,
        Please turn your ‘Investment/Loan Transfer’ OFF.

  2. Thank you a lot for the very helpful app. I am using the professional version on an iPhone SE (iOS 13.3) in German language.
    In order to use it in an optimal way, I would like to ask the following questions:
    • Why I cannot see the future dated transactions. It is important to see coming expenses and be able to manage future decisions.
    • For repeated transactions, is it possible to set a limit of repetitions? E.g. for only 18 Months and not forever? In relation to the previous question, I can see in this way, when I will have more balance in my accounts due to expired liability etc.
    • Is the PC-version in improvement? That would be really helpful for working on PC and with software like Excel.
    I hope you could help me with these points. I compared a lot of finance management App and I like yours a lot, it one of the best. Nerveless, the mentioned points are in my opinion really important for an effective finance management with survey of the future. If it is not possible and if these points will not be available soon, please inform me, so I can search for alternative app.

  3. I would like to ask when will the dark mode be released? As a famous finance management apps in App Store and Amoled mon is used since iPhone X, it is supposed to support dark mode.

  4. a different currency exchange rate should be allowed for different transactions entered on the same date. e.g. i purchased coffee from credit card and i was charged USD 10 @ 155 in my local currency while on the same date i received funds from western union USD 1000 @ 152. According to current exchange rate system in the app both transactions would be recorded at the same rate set in the app while for both transaction on the same date i want to enter different exchange rates. please update this feature in the app. thanks

    I am trying to sign to this app from my new mobile samsung galaxy A51, But is giving error 6000:login failed. I sign out it from old mobile and tried it but that also did not work. I lost imp expanse data. can you please help on that.

      Yes, you can import excel into the app. For more details, please see below.

      1. Download : import.xls
      2. Write your data.
      Date – Account – Main Category – Subcategory – Contents – Amount -Income/Expense – Details
      ** Please follow the below date and category name format as below. 
      Day : yy.mm.dd or yyyy.mm.dd : ex)11.08.09 or 2011.08.09 
      Category name or Asset name use the same name in app.

      3. Save as… > Select “Uniciode (UTF-16) >
      4. iTunes > iPhone > Apps > Apps > Money Manager
      5. Drag your file in Documents.
      6. Run ‘Money Manager’ > Setting > Backup

      Once you created the credit card record, you will see the outstanding balance of credit card in the Accounts Tab

      2. Balance amount:
      Please see the Accounts tab

  7. Hello! I moved to New Zealand and will obviously use NZD instead of my previous PHP main currency. I need to update my main currency but I don’t want to lose or convert my previous year entry.
    Will the PHP entries not be affected?

      When you change the main currency, the data will be reset.
      So, we recommend you backup before update the main currency.
      The location is Settings > Main Currency

        The recurring charge is reflected only on that date.
        It does not appear in advance.
        Which means that if you make a repeat at every month 25th, it will be
        shown on Mar 25, but it isn’t shown Mar 5.
        When it becomes Mar 25, The repeat is shown.

        Therefore, we recommend that you change the setting of reflection date.
        Setting > Repeat Management > Timing of reflection > On the first day of every month.

      The exclamation mark carries out simply as emphasizing your record on the list.
      As enable the mark, it is shown on the list so that you can find the transaction more easily.

      Unfortunately, we don’t support any features to change your password.

      The first way is that you can just delete Money Manager with the password.
      However, your all data on Money Manager are erased,
      if you delete the application.

      If you can access MoneyManager using fingerprint and
      If you don’t mind sharing data,
      please send us the backup file
      (Settings > Backup > Export backup file to email > help@realbyteapps.com) and with the simple reason.
      we will initialize your password and send you back.

      If you don’t want to share,
      1. Please back up your data.
      2. Backup > Reset Contents Only,
      3. After that, send us your data.

      If you cannot access, another way is
      1. Find /MoneyManager folder on your device.
      2. Send us the biggest size file beginning with the letter auto.

        I have another problem. I tried to transfer my data from iphone to android, but the android isn’t recognizing the file. The file 20200829_211415.MoneyManagerLite is in my android’s downloads but when I click this message appears: “You don’t have any apps that can open this type of file you can search for one in the Play Store”.
        Can you help me?

        mmbak back up file which created iOS can also be restored on Android,
        Also, please ensure that the size of the file should be at least 140kb.

        To transfer the data from the Android to the iOS device,
        Settings > Backup/Restore > Export backup files to email > Send ‘money_android.sqlite’ file to your email account.
        iPhone > mail Application > Select the attached backup file > open in Money Manager.

        If you still have the problem and, if you don’t mind, please send us your data.
        (Settings > Backup > Export backup file to email)
        We will convert the data to sqlite file and get back to you.

        We are asking for your data since it is an unidentified issue.

  9. Hi there. I have a question regarding the Money Manager backup and import. I used to use Money Manager on an Android phone (during 2019), and since 2020 I am using my new iPhone. I would like to transfer my old entries (2019) in Money Manager from my Android to my iPhone. However, when I try to import the old backup file (2019), the new entries (2020) on my iPhone are gone. Is there any way to combine the two backup files and then import it in iPhone?

      Thank you for using Money Manager.

      When you back up your data in Money Manager, it basically replaces the existing data.
      However, to combine the new data to the existing data,
      you need to convert your data to the excel file and import it to Money Manager.

      1. Settings > Backup/Restore > Export 2019 data to Excel
      2. Please make sure importing the 2019 Excel to 2020 data

  11. Money manager had helped me a lot in monitoring my bank accounts, cash, and expenses.
    Question regarding Note. What really should be written on the note. On the search bar, is it a search bar for which one? I mean for the note? Category?

      On the note, you can input any description as you wish like payee, the place you visit, and so on.
      You can search the note after all when you would like to review the total amount of the note content.

  12. Hi
    I just purchased Paid version.
    I’d like to restore my data from Lite version to the Paid one.
    I tried several ways suggested both restore data from iCloud and from e-mail.
    The app keeps telling me it is restored and asked to restart.
    I did it several times but no data shown in the Paid version.

    Could you help?

      We provide two versions for iOS (NEXT-red, PRO-brown).
      Next version is the later version which offers, even more,
      functionalities than Pro version.
      Money Manager(+PC Editing) is the premium version, so it requires a purchase.

      To download the free version, please see the below link.

      We are sorry to say that the Pro version is not compatible with Android.
      You need to download the NEXT version and transfer your data.

      If you have paid for the brown icon,
      you can use the free version of Red icon by authenticating.
      Pro paid users can use Next Lite version like Next-Paid version for
      free via Authorization.
      Please go to Pro version > Setting > Setting > Next Lite
      Authorization. > Next Lite.

      In order to transfer data, Pro version > Setting > Backup > Export
      data to other apps.

  13. Hi, I really love your app, and I am just setting it up for my use. When it comes to setting a budget, I would like to set one budget for my total spending, rather than defining it for each category separately. What is the best way for doing that?
    Also, I would like to define a budget as money per Month, and a display how I am doing on a month-to-day on that budget (i.e. when I’m spending nothing, the available sum builds up every day. If I am spending too much every day, the available sum goes down, eventually into negative. and so on.).

  14. How my credit card balance payable will be shown?

    As my understanding, they should show the balance payable after I have had an expense, isn’t it?

    I’ve recorded my cc expenditure, also the cc has already reach the payment date. However, I haven’t seen balance payable yet only the outstanding balance. Have I don’t anything wrong?

    May I know how to hide or don’t show the notes if didn’t enter any value?

    For example, I transfer from Bank 1 to Bank 2 with amount 100 at 03 Jan 2021.
    In Daily (Bill) tab, it will show as below:

    Transfer Bank 1 -> Bank 2 100
    Bank 1 -> Bank 2

  16. Hi Money Manager team,

    I really like the look of the Money Manager app. I only have a question, is it possible to create a group where two different people can have access to same accounts and budget? Something like a household and all the members of the family can track expenses and share the same budget. Tha would be great, I would immediately buy your app if you have that feature. I just downloaded the free version and can’t find a way to sync with other people.

    Any. Maybe a dropbox account? Without that, your app for people with families is useless.
